Re: Zbrush: How to replicate this technique?
You can also use UVed and displaced geometry in Zbrush as a base then dynamesh and clean up afterward to avoid sculpting everything (although for a hero prop you'd probably end up sculpting over everything anyway...) -

Hey all, Just finished up this project for school. We had two weeks to model out a modular env, texture, and light it. Concept images were used for inspiration not having to match 1-1.
