the funny thing is my instagram gets virtually zero views or likes, but when I replied in a thread about cats, I got 300 likes within 2 days and 1000's of views. Even making a silly comment on a thread gets at least 10 likes I think maybe giving your work a hashtag of #cutecats or #sexy ladies might help your get more…
have you checked all your lights (SHADOW option) or you just have one, i ran into issues and lights were usually the issue or even the HDRI at one point for me, also play with shadow offset settings, i heard fixes some oddities. trying to do the quick help attempt here for you, but hopefully they come around for you with a…
The blending mode used between strokes cannot be modified at this point. If you want to "replace" the normal details, you'll need to create another layer and change its blending mode to normal or replace
If you set up the bone/bones right, not really. You just replace the .mdl in the items_game.txt file for a weapon/hat you want to replace and then your model will be in game in place of that hat's model.
You can only copy & paste keyframes in blender from one action to another if there is already blank keyframes to replace with. The copy e paste feature is more like a replace one. Pasting in a timeline without keyframes yet wont work. ;/
UVs are essentially colour information. A flow map replaces the UVs - distorting the image. You paint on gradients that indicate the direction you want the map to sit. I have done this using vertex colour. Where the vertex colour replaced the UVs.
Thanks guys, this is really useful info. So then I guess its just a matter of how complicated the model is and how its been built, as to whether you replace the whole model in an LOD or you replace/remove individual parts. Is this correct?
Update: So i quickly tried to unwarp my lightmaps with automatic padding between the faces, and got some bad UV's. Can i import and replace ONLY the UV's in UE4 without having to replace every piece that has these artifacts?

I hate my lighting. lol. Here is a screengrab from my latest lighting setup in UDK: and this is what I did in photoshop to…
