This is a solid first attempt! To answer your questions: The UV map has a lot of wasted space. Do you have the TexTools/Texel Density Checker/UVpackmaster plugins? Blender's default UV tools are woefully underdeveloped and these plugins will make your life a lot easier - TexTools at the very least. The unwrap is…
Hey everyone, looking for some reference resources for modelling the undercarriage of a Buffalo H MRAP. Anyone with technical knowledge know of other vehicles I could pull from for building the drivetrain and suspension? Any critique is appreciated. Progress -
Fraps, the popular screen capture software, has just received a big update. Added features include the ability to specify a custom length for the buffer, and to record at high resolutions such as 1920x1080 (1080P). This should come in handy for recording high quality gameplay footage, or even walkthroughs of your latest…
@rollin Nope, wrap deformer works this way, the principle of RBF is more complicated and implies the use of some really big matrices. I want to take a screenshot while 3ds max11 is open.I seen in fraps you can assign a button to take a screenshot but 3ds max11 seems to have all there buttons filled up and i dont want to mess with its defaults. Any suggestions?
Fellow coders, Is there a way to test for the RTT dialog to finish processing? I have an idea in mind for a tool to daisy chain several bakes out one after another but would need to find a way to trap for the "Baking Maps" dialog to disappear. Any thoughts? Cheers~
Off the top of my head, there's Lattice and Wrap deformers, With lattices, you can use the Deformer set editor to add/remove additional objects as you go. Wrap deformers can be a bit messy in general, but you can use them like a custom shaped lattice and can give great results depending on the scenario. I don't think you…
Hey all, I posted in the What are you working on thread and got some great suggestions on there, so I decided to make a thread and get some more suggestions , and comments on my Trap Room. What should I add, or take out ,or fix? Here are a few screenshots of it in the UDK: I'm looking forward to more comments and…
my uses would lean more towards frap's capabilities as an in-game video capture tool. However, desktop recording could prove just as useful. poop, any idea if camtasia is capable of doing in-game as well as regular desktop recording.. and what resolution can camtasia go up to? i noticed fraps only goes up to 1152x684...
