I want to setup a basic light setup for an interior room in Maya using mental ray. Aiming for just a simple bright lit room. I just to render out some images and have a look at my shaders and textures I am using mental ray. Any suggestions welcome.
I get this wierd effect and don't know what's causing it. I've made this crate in Maya and exported it into unity. In Maya, when I put directional lights everything seems fine, my normals are all looking good, and I have no idea. All help appriciated. picture attached

What the title says. In Max, if I turn the global brightness down, or turn lights away, the reflection map stays just as bright, making it look like its glowing.
Old UE3 game, but the lighting still looks gorgeous. Did they have something unique technical-wise? Everything just looks like its got this amazing glow and luminescence.
Hi, I rendered one still frame of my object, but client said its for phone app, and needs to be able to rotate it. Is there any way to do something like interactive 360 render? Or to export model with materials and lights? It has to be .dae format, but if you have any alternatives I'd love to hear them.
To be honest it doesn't feel like Guild wars at all, the only way I associated it with GW was because you said it was.
