Hi, mahreeooce: thanks for kind words. The news are that we already compiled a version for Maya 2009. There are also some new features available like cone step mapping (there's an auto generator of displacements maps inluded in the maya interface). Cheers!
is there any that you can display it in the 3d package you are using? How do i even begin to find out where i can get those real-time engines you say and load it into my 3d interface?

firstly, active is checked inside customize user interface so context specific hotkeys should work but none of the edit UVW hotkeys function. I've just sort of lived with it but it's fairly annoying and it really slows me down
Did this in 20 minutes just to try out and begin learning z brush, the interface is a little weird but i figured it out in a few minutes, decent result for my first try, ill have to get better to integrate this into normal mapped enrionments stuff
Thanks musashidan. Looks like I need to give it another try. It doesn't look easy last time I did. Probably because of the interface and I love the tools which are simple and instantly self explaining.
When I clicked that I got these options (http://i.imgur.com/hVwD3Hv.jpg). But none of them allowed my Ribbon interface to be as extensive as his. I am a noob at this, so there could be a number of things I am missing.
Modo is amazing, been using it for 6 years now and it's hard to model/UV in anything else. This video is a great explanation of the interface, and why the action centers are a great concept: http://content.luxology.com/community/user_tutorials/seneca/SENECA_MODO_ACTRS.mov
