Max - hotkeys don't work in edit UVWs window

firstly, active is checked inside customize user interface so context specific hotkeys should work but none of the edit UVW hotkeys function. I've just sort of lived with it but it's fairly annoying and it really slows me down

ahhh i just had this problem. what version of max are you using?

Maybe you have the Keyboard Shortcut Override toggle on?
If it's not a button anywhere on your UI, add it to a quad menu or something to check (it's in Customize -> Customize UI, type "keyb" with the All Commands list highlighted, should find it).
