I just started learning zbrush and would greatly appreciate feedback and criticism on my character. This is the first in a series of attempts at a character using zbrush but this one is the first that is starting to look like a human.
Just about done zbrushing this head. Its supposed to be Ahhnuld! The only thing is I'm not sure how to do the hair. I looked for some zbrush hair tutorials but couldnt find anything useful... any comments??
i cant figure out how to import the model into zbrush i googled it but there they said you need to get an importer but the link to the importer doesnt work? so how do you get your model into zbrush?
The spirals are an issue, it's just a hard problem to solve automatically. Giving the algorithm facegroups/materials to cut the mesh up into multiple parts and to mark hard edges helps, but it's still hard to get a usable mesh out without manual fixing. Zbrush doesn't have normals. There are no normals on a zbrush model. If you look at a low resolution model in zbrush's viewport you'll see that it's faceted.
guys, im having this strange uv problem when i import zbrush model from zbrush to max as an obj. the UVs are kind of 'exploded' that they have per face seams. I used both uvmaster inside zbrush and importing the lowest level to max and unwrapping there and reimporting it to zbrush tool. but neither work. :( any ideas on…
