Smallish update; solidified his outfit even more, and edited his face and proportions quite a bit. There's still a lot left that I want to do, but I'll get there! comments & critique are always welcome
I can't seem to edit my posts! Apparently there is a gear icon but I don't see one anywhere. Edit: Never mind, are edits locked to 1 hour now? That makes it a bit tough to keep newest in progress images first in wip threads.
Dragon? No. Spammer? Yes. Edit in response to below; http://www.lockergnome.com/bradleybradwell/2008/03/28/tips-on-building-an-online-community-how-to-attract-a-community/ Edit #2; damn your ninja edit adam, shoulda kept the "I am a dragon!" bit :(
Here's a high poly model of the WWII Kleines Kettenkrad for my portfolio. Edit: replaced image with a better looking render I plan on sculpting wrinkles into the seat cushions, and sculpting out the current swiss cake roll on top. EDIT EDIT: Actually, on second thought I think I'll add onto what's currently on there,…
I thought they fixed that in 2009. You have to set all the shortcuts through editable polygon object menu and you might have to get rid of in in editable poly. I forget, but it seemed like the shortcuts passed to edit poly modifier as well. I might be wrong though. Alex
Opened up my tool this morning to see that I needed to reconstruct subdiv. When I tried to, it came back and said the mesh contained triangles and that the operation was cancelled. My mesh has had triangles this entire time... not sure what the beef is now. Yesterday I used to GoZ to export to Maya to do some UV work then…

Well i succeeded in making it tiling [thanks @blaisoid!] but im having the greenish rock that is to repetitive so im going to edit that. Next up im going to try to make the lava texture better :) Edit: wow i see that the copy line gonna edit that.
Editable Poly doesn't support welding a fin to (or extruding it from) an edge in the middle of another mesh. This makes it a non-manifold mesh, not allowed. Editable Mesh supports this, but that has all kinds of drawbacks. A way around the shading seams is to snap the vertices together, then use an Edit Normals modifier to…
If your mesh is an editable poly object, go to your edge sub object and select the edge you want "removed" and then click "remove". It's in the Edge Sub object in the edit edges menu. If it's an editable mesh object, then go to the Edge sub object and, grab the edge you want and look for the "invisible" function.
