Thanks for all the content, guys! Really appreciate it. Unfortunately, both Meshroom and display.land don't work very well for hard surfaces like knives, wrenches, guns, etc. They work wonders for organic stuff (logs, plants) and stuff like pillows, bags, etc. Maybe lightning is an issue? I'm not sure how common it would be, but we've used a ZPritner 450 and currently a Dimension 1200es, and both allow for non-continuous meshes. You just have to keep in mind that if it isn't connecting in the 3d mesh, it's not going to be connected when it prints. In some cases you actually need to make the model… -

agree on the environment concept, nice mood and atmosphere. the effect of reflection in that shallow trench of water was pulled off really nicely, though it's obvious in my mind that the reflections aren't accurate...but still an impressive effect. i think the facial anatomy in your concepts and on your untextured model… -

haha I have yet to see that sort of trench warfare, but that sounds pretty funny. In my experience, if a melee enemy is in my hair I don't even look for if he is doing significant damage. Just the fact that he is there switches my focus off attacking and on to surviving. It applies to groups too, if you are beefy and have… -
