Looks good so far! I think your textures are looking a little bit flat tho, I would suggest adding some linear gradients in there to add some visual interest. You could do a bottom up gradient on the main dispenser, as well as the handle itself, maybe play around with it and see what you can find. Stuff like this is a good…
First thing I notice is that the wear and tear is very scattered. For instance, the asphalt looks almost brand new, but the concrete slabs near the park look like they've been through a war. And it looks as though the normal maps on your roof material are inverted.
I've been learning 3dsMax, Zbrush and CAD, mainly focusing on Max. I've worked on: A Game-ready Character Design Project An Event Design Project (Designing an event booth for a convention in CAD and Max) I also worked on a team that produced two VR Historical recreation projects. I don't have any pictures readily available…

Well I'm going for fallout like universe but hmm... with apocalypse happening like 100 years before fallouts, and with some magic and alchemy thrown in for a good measure :) Pretty happy it has that feel about it before I added fallout like wear and tear to it. Thanks.
Hey, my name's Gavin! I'm a self-taught artist who's been poking at 3D for several years, mostly making prop/environment art. Polycount's been a big help for me, and I felt I might as well join, post stuff and help other people if I can!
Hello Forum! I'm a pixel artist from Australia looking to dip into some digital illustration and just a fan of drawing and games in general. Folio|Twitter While not much of a 3D kid I absolutely adore the Guilty Gear XRD art. I also think its actually a really powerful resource, it shows these highly stylized anime figures…
Hey all, this is my first real post on the polycount forum and I thought it was about time I let people know what I'm workin on. I decided I wanted to "update" the wardrobes of two well known character classes from one very well know video game franchise. The character classes...The Black and White mage...the game...Final…
The paint on the blade is my main issue with this. It looks low res compared to the fabric beneath the knife and to the leather holster. Also, random scratches and uniform edge wear looks procedural. The metal protection thing on the handle is too pristine, apart from some very thick oil marks. You could add some grime and…
Hello, this is my first post on Polycount. Im out of my bubble wrap now! I am working on a locust character from Gears of War for an assignment I have at university. I have made a few alterations to the character so I can show knowledge of anatomy - in particular muscles. This is my first go at body modelling so I am in…
