Hey guys, Just wondering, is there a performance hit if togglable lights are set to toggled off in udk? My understanding was the only hit was if they were toggled on.
Hi everyone, here's my issue: there are 3 models (a horse, a knight and a weapon) BUT when I apply a new light, it affects on only 2 of the models and the 3rd one remains dark. How to fix this?

Hey guys i was wondering if there was a way you could have a decal that has an emissive and can cast light on things? Like an emissive for a static actor but just with a decal?
A coworker of mine was talking about inverting the same image and setting a blending mode to lighting info in an image. Does anybody know about this? or have useful tips on the subject?
is there any way to have a mesh with no backface cast a shadow? ive got a bunch of wall pieces that are meant for an interior, and light just goes right through them. a small fix ive got for that is to just build up a BSP wall around the inside of the walls.. but thats a bit tedious. any suggestions?

Hey guys, i know this forum is primarily digital 2d/3d but i know there are some traditional animators as well. I've been asked to teach a summer traditional animation camp to kids aged 9-12 and I'm in need of some cheap or easily constructable light tables (and if possible cheap pegbars aswell)
hey , ive made a map with a day/night cycle , does anyone knows if its possible to somehow make the lights turn on when its starting to get dark? thanks for the help :)
