I started a quicker piece based on this concept by Hong SoonSang Currently just basic polypaint and Keyshot. Currently I'm working on a low poly version before I make a nice posed, high-poly version with good materials and lighting.
woo, finally found one of your threads on here killer style, hope you get onto more sculpting soon. Diggin the polypaint head too. not much to crit on from me tbh, just eagerly awaiting the sculptingz :poly142:
Yeah, bumped it all the way to 1 but only worked slightly. I'll probably play with it later to see if I can figure it out, but gave up and reworked the problem areas. Polypainting now and that's totally something I'm not good at yet hehe.
ahoy ahoy here is a small update of my stone wall :) i used polypaint and spotlight in zbrush to add the stone texture. now i will use moss and stuff to let it look weathered. after that i will bake the texture on the lowpoly model.
Thanks- Ged, poopinmymouth :) // Recently on Zbrush Central I posted up a shot of some of the polypainting I've added to the zombie head. I decided maybe this time around it would be good to at least tilt the head to make it seem less stiff. -
Heh, thanks. That does look pretty weird. I'll have a look at that. :) Meanwhile, I've been messing around with sculpting and ZBrush's polypainting, particularly stuff like cavity masks. I don't really like the colours... but hopefully I'm getting there!
Still fairly new to the different skills needed in zbrush, just about know basic sculpting and polypainting and that's about it. Would love some advice on what to do next, was thinking maybe some orcish armour as I haven't tried hard surface yet.
Hi guys. I made a macro that automates the creation of clown maps inside Zbrush. The macro assigns polygroups to all your subtools and converts the polygroups to polypaint. I thought this might help others when baking their ID maps. Later, Alex
For the practical section of my FYP at Staffordshire university I've been creating a character in Zbrush. I'm currently Polypainting the head and it would be great to get some advice from the community. It's based off this concept by michael kutsche Let me know what you guys think
I finished the sculpt and am now either looking at retopo for practice or polypainting... or, maybe both, yay! Can't say enough thanks for all the help i received here when asking about stylized hair creation =D
