OK, so I am going to ride the fence on this one. I agree that the idea of "Buy Nothing Day" is, at its heart, a generally good idea. @throttlekitty i am gonna try that out because i would like to have precise 10m intervals for sake of authenticity, and i think that will be easy to setup. I manage this with world machine, and that's not bad because then whenever i go and edit the heightmaps i can output the contour lines along with it. so its pretty tidy… -

Re: Normal Map Always Bakes Wrong And Gives Bad Shading - HELP
I tried to view it in something different than blender and it looks like this on Sketchfab: The shading doesn't looks as bad as in Blender, but there are weird lines everywhere. They did bake out from the high poly into the normal map. However this also happens everytime with every normal map I bake.... -

From what I can see in my area: TechArt, Rigging, Tech Anim and UI/UX are always in high demand and people in those role can sometime rise fast in senior or lead positions. Is getting a used Cintiq 21ux now a bad idea?
I've found what seems like a good deal; a used Cintiq 21UX DTK-2100 for $500. If it arrives defective I can return it, but longer term the 21ux is not covered for repairs by Wacom.
