Take Two now has exclusive rights to not only the MLBPA, but also the MLBP, and MLB Advanced Media. I hope this isn't going to become standard practice, with big name publishers gobbling up every concievable license out there... http://www.jonjones.com/2005/10/07/your-portfolio-repels-jobs/ From what I've learned from the forums, the stuff he says in there is pretty much the way to go as far as art portfolios. What exactly do you want to focus on? What kind of work are you doing/looking for?
Combine all low poly mesh into one mesh and do the same for high poly mesh too. Put Max frontal distance: 0.01 and Max Rear distance: 0.5 (with Relative to Bounding Box checked and Anti-aliasing set to Subsampling 2x2) which works every time like a charm.
You'll want to link to the image directly rather then to the page that's hosting it. ie; Currently you are linking to http://orangedishes.deviantart.com/art/Fiat-Coupe-Wip-1-507241354 but you should be linking to http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2015/015/b/0/fiat_coupe_wip_1_by_orangedishes-d8dzxxm.png I hope this helps!
Hey, the scene's coming along! Depending on the direction you're going, I'd say just be cautious of the texel density. 0.5 meter - 256x256 1 meter - 512x512 2 meter - 1024x1024 4 meter - 2048x2048 Anyone else can chime in if I'm getting this wrong. This still gets to me sometimes.
yeah i read it years ago, it is quite different if i remeber correctly (had alot of swearing aswell, which was nice). speaking of films not following the books, i read a few of the 007 books as a kid, and one or two were nothing like the film with the same name, completely different stories.
I'm liking this year's PC FPS prospects, some bright new original ones are looking mighty fine: Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, Pariah, FEAR and Bioshock (although Bioshock might not quite be this year...). 2004 was certainly brought on a sea of sequels, but 2005 is certainly looking to be a year for new and original games.
Flash. I was bored waiting. Still bored. Ah, it's loaded. Music. Oh please no. The flash wasn't worth the wait. http://www.thejonjones.com/2005/10/07/your-portfolio-repels-jobs/ http://www.rsart.co.uk/2006/09/21/how-to-present-your-model-in-the-best-way-possible-for-feedback/
No , I meant not making small bumps by connecting "normal" node but rather putting very low contrast (around 0,5 gray) textures of different maybe inverted gradients to channels of normal map itself . With rgba combine node. Starting from only single channel at first
