Life is a cruel bitch. Hopefully most of us wont experience real shitty stuff. Like having the place where you live and work be a warzone. I cant imagine trying to reconcile after having your house, family, friends killed or blown up.

If school makes you sad, life or Vig hasn't punched you in nuts yet.
But,- that's what helps make life worth living. The bummer stuff makes the awesome stuff more awesome, plus it helps you grow.

the sweet isn't as sweet w/o the sour, or something like that. (unfortunately I feel like that's only true to a point)

From my point of view, the only thing that should ever make someone sad (besides deepest question aka meaning of life and such! or the loss of close ones...) is when one's action are constrained by someone or something else.

Having to sit through a speech made by someone who just talks shit or doesn't know his subject... Or something that gives that one weird tickling feeling behind the head, like sitting through a shitty movie because friends told you aaaaw comon it's gonna be fun but it really is some dumb stuff... Or! having to cope with shitty software that just doen't work...

In such cases, throwing away the politically/socially correct is the greatest feeling of all! Just kicking stuff out, walking away, maybe sometimes standing up. Plus more often than not you bump into a hot chick on your way out, making the experience even better

But then again sometimes one cannot affard doing so and it can be truly soffucating. So yeah even if I do agree with Konstruct about school being such a minor thing compared to what life can throw at our faces, feeling out of place in situations when you clearly have no control can be extremely saddening, even for seemingly little things, like school/worplace shit and such. It can pile up so fast too!!

Anyways, sorry for not contributing much hehe.

Theres no castles on cliffs here and it takes 3 hours to get to either the oceans edge or the mountains. It used to take me 5 minutes to get to either, but life is a series of tradeoff's and who has time to frown while the sun shines; plus I can still flick through the pages of my mind and hear the oceans break against the cliffs below Dunskey castle in Portpatrick as I imagine the view perched from the ruined crenallations I used to sit and stare from.

Thats the great thing about having an imagination(or memory perhaps?).
