Also dont put anything like that in your portfolio, for anyone that knows that it was made from a tutorial it is a major turnoff.
Just choose your top work. place it on the front page.
So everybody directly sees the work you think is your best work and he/she doesnt have to browse through endless pages.

Secondly, we all know of the Joan of Arc tut, so its not as any of us is going to be 'tricked'; and thirdly he never stated it was his design.

cyborgkatana -- i think you did a pretty nice job here! well done. The face could be a little bit smoother and more human, and the legs kinda bow in a little bit too, by the looks of things... but yeah, great job. give it a texture, or grab another piece of concept (or do one yourself) and give it another go! I'm sure that you're ready to do a model without a tutorial and it'll turn out great.

Post a profile picture of the model; her spine looks to straight and it looks like she is leaning forward. It's hard to tell in the posted pics.

I get away with sharing some work in game modding for fun when I'm bored or want to try something new and not be spending time unsure if it'll work the way I imagine etc, but for the most part I'm not supposed to show mine. I still have a lot to learn myself.

1 - The model is based of a tutorial that is quite well known and may not be taken in the right way on a folio or whatever
2- EVERYTIME you post on polycount (especially when a person is new) it's good to ...say Hello even. Just that is better than nothing at all.
