Hi there. Here's some random stuff that I've been working on in the past couple of months. I figured I'd start a sketchbook here in order to keep me doing more 2D. C&C welcome!

This one is a CD cover for a couple of friends' band (original aspect is 3:1, cropped so it doesn't mess up the layout).

Jackwhat - I see what you mean about the brush whoring.. that's the point of all these first few images though, I've been trying to loosen up my paintings a bit and get faster as well. I'm still exploring a lot.

seriously, I love this sort of sci-fi, and just looking at some of these (like the squid ships) gives me goosebumps.
Love your brush style especially on the environments.

Sorry this sketchbook has been starting to gather dust lately, I don't have much to post right now and I'm also kinda swamped with work so it'll probably be a few weeks till the next update. I will be trying to make time for the 2D Domwar though!
