Hey guys i am trying to buy a new desk within a reasonable price for my setup in my bedroom. post up what you have at home to give me some ideas! most desks with integrated areas for the tower wont fit because i have the massive EL-DIABLO case... thanks in advance!

300 or so at Ikea, lots of configuations in that style. Good corner desk with adjustable height.

It was actually quite a bit more sturdy than the cheap particleboard desks they sell for hte same price, and looks a lot better too. I had one when i was in san diego and loved it, and just recently order another one here cause i was so sick of my old wood desk and wanted more space.

It's clean, crisp, and that photo of the city is awesome. How much did it cost for a print that big? I'm assuming that it's on canvas, right?
anyway, I have some cheap O'Sullivan desk, I would not recommend it, I got it at staples for $50 on sale, it's somewhat rickety.
(it's a bit different now, because I use my powerbook as a work station and have the other monitor hooked up to it for some dual sweetness.)
However when I still lived at home, my dad and I built a custom desk that was ever so sweet.
It was even sized for my sitting height and all that crap.
I'm surprised about that, usually IKEA's stuff is okay at best! I still wonder how a company can market a plank of wood as a shelf.

Got the desk at Office Depot for $150 but its half that in the US, didnt have alot of options for the small space I have.
you know what they say about men with small desks!
It helps to absorb some of the bass frequencies when I use my speakers, because I'm in a corner, that tends to give off a false bass presence. I forget what the technical term is. Papercraft stormtrooper owns!

It comes with an extra stand-shelf for the longer end of the desk, but I removed mine as well.
Look at 'writers desks', they are great for smaller spaces.

There you go. Whatever you do, don't get a tiny desk unless you have an old comp and a giant subwoofer to use a a desk extension

haha Im buying a Dell 24inch IPS (U2410) think similar :P Gonna use my 2253 as my second monitor. Didnt even know Dell did 23inch IPS. Thought it was only 22 and 24.
