Great video. Robin Williams is a bit of a gamer. I remember reading a few years ago that he regularly played Day of Defeat, and this was back before it was a retail game when it was still a mod for the original Half-Life.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he played the original Counter-Strike a fair bit too. A friendly face for the world stage as a gaming representative, for sure.

Pretty cool. I've actually met him once. He's been to EA HQ several times. Seemed like a genuinely decent bloke. Him and Bing Gordon (one of the founders of EA) are old buddies which is how this came about.

He was on Letterman one night talking about Quake way back when.

edit: Here's the account:

"He went on to talk about this game called "Quake", and described how he would walk into a room, stand there for a second, and instantly die a grizzly death. Then, the 5 "college guys" who play for at least 8 hours a day would walk up to him from out of the shadows, give his corpse a kick, and then run off to kill again."
