Audi A5 Sportback 2017 - WiP ( Blender 3d)

Hey everyone! 

My name is Szymon and I’m a 3D Vehicle Artist from Poland.
I’ve been focused mainly on automotive modeling, surfacing and rendering in Blender for the last few years. I also had the opportunity to work on vehicles for the game Japanese Drift Master.

This is my first post on Polycount, so I wanted to share my current personal project - Audi A5 Sportback.

The project is still heavily WIP.
There’s still a lot to improve and finish:

  • shark fin antenna,
  • fuel cap,
  • small exterior details,
  • headlight refinements,
  • some surfacing polish in a few areas.

For this project I wanted to focus mainly on:

  • clean body reflections,
  • smooth highlight flow,
  • realistic automotive materials,
  • cinematic lighting and mood.

I’m also experimenting a lot with studio lighting and atmospheric renders lately.

Would love to hear your feedback, especially regarding:

  • surfacing quality,
  • proportions,
  • reflections/highlight flow,
  • realism of materials and lighting.
