What I'm looking at I'd say there is a good use of color but maybe too much time is spent on polishing forms and shapes compared to the conceptualization of ideas. Maybe focusing for awhile in pushing creative ideas until they break could benefit and add more complexity. ie.
- Let's draw a car
- Let's draw a car that's made of vines and flowers
-Let's draw a car that's made of vines and flowers that belongs to a prince of a far away kingdom.
-What kind of mechanics does it have, how many wheels, what kind of fuel it uses, what's the story, why is it needed..
-etc. Pushing the idea (which will end up pushing your technical execution demand).
And then after the idea starts looking like nonsense, you pull back 25-50% and end up with something interesting while still understandable.
