Hello everyone!
I'm having an issue in Ue5 where my normal map is displaying incrorrectly. It has a sort of streaky black look to it. I have opened the material (imported from ue5 bridge) and have confirmed it is only the normal map doing this. If I turn off the normal map the issue goes away - but then I have no normals which is slightly unhelpful as I'm doing work for an ArchViz scene. The closer I get to the texture the more I can see the issue - the further away the less. It happens in both game mode and edit mode, the only way I have found to correct the issue is by deleting the uasset out of the windows content folder and reimporting the material from bridge. This has happened on 2 different materials now and was wondering if there was a better 'fix' or something I'm not doing properly. I'm using lumen as well but not sure if that is an issue? See the screenshots to make better sense of this.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

what are the mip gen settings on the normal map?
It's on Sharpen4. I re-opened the scene this morning and the error has subsided but I fear it may come back.
Sometimes UE just starts to do weird disco pixels on certain mip levels of certain textures. restarting, it'll clear up. If it's the same thing, it'll just creep up on occasion.
maybe set it back to default ("from texturegroup") and see if that helps
