How to fix crease in maya?

Hey, do you guys have any idea how to fix this kind of crease on the surface in Maya? The model is made by Solidworks. I tried painting it directly in SP, and this crease is still there.

Soft and hard edge placements will fix the majority of your shading artifacts.
Poor topology is the issue for some of them; for others, like Kanni said, making edges hard if they're above a certain angle will help a lot, using the Soften/Harden Edges tool

Being mostly soft is part of what's causing those shading errors; it's trying to blend between faces that can't be blended smoothly.
Making some edges hard (above say 60 degrees sharp) will help lessen some of those issues. But those long thin triangles are never going to look great, probably; to get the best results, you'd also have to tweak the topology by hand.
I think a big part of your issue is how Solidworks ended up tessellating your mesh. You may want to use a higher resolution. I don't know what the original shape looks like but this super thin triangle is actual 3d geometry. If you were to run your hand over it, you would feel the crease. I drew a red line on where I think the edge SHOULD be. That is, before all those other edges end up terminating into the lower right hand corner.
