[WIP] Ruger Mark IV Lite + Suppressor and Reflex Sight

Hello! After about half of a year of doing nothing for my portfolio finally starting my new WIP. This time I wanted something modern with interesting shapes and opportunity to attach suppressor and sight. So I decided to make Ruger Mark IV Lite.
I really like the contrast between black and gold colors so this color will be the main, but I will also make other color variations of the barrel like that:
I challenged myself to make the full pipeline in 14 days. I have about 4-6 hours every day after my work - this should be enough for me.
Today is Day 0 as I spend just about 3 hours to collect all needed references:

I'll be watching your progress
Currently it is about 16k of Tris in this scene, so I think full assembly will be around 18-20k total, mostly because of the cylinders
Later I will fix some areas also.
Wondering whether you normally budget hand guns around 18k+ tri's, aside from personal work?

Completed Lowpoly stage and mapped all the UV's, just need to pack them. They will be divided to 6 textures sets:
1 - Upper Reciever
2 - Lower Reciever or Frame
3 - Magazine
4 - Suppressor
5 - Reflex Sight
6 - Charging Grip
Day 9
Packed all sets with approx. the same texelAlso decimated all highpolys and got them to the Blender together
Day 10
Baked everything and sent to Painter. Finally can start the texturing.Day 11
Textures are going very hard. Can't find a good facture for upper receiver. I don't think I will finish this in time (14 days total) as I need to experiment a little
Tweaked values for the coated metal, started doing base material for the dark painted metal. The progress is so slow
Had just a little of free time to make some tweaks here and there. Completely redone the facture of coated metal - I like it a bit more but later I will make much more complex material for it
Yeah, you're totally right. The glossy version makes more contrast
So I need to finish this someday and I'm trying to do this. Gave some details to the Frame part and started making damages to Reciever and Bolt parts(actually don't like that scratches on black paint). Also re-made facture on the Frame.
