Issue in Maya

I have a problem that I don't know how to solve. Every time I try to use a tool in the modeling toolkit, I can't get the window to appear that shows me changeable options. For instance, if I try to bevel an object, the window to change the angle and subdivisions doesn't show up. Is there any way to fix this? I am using Maya 2018 by the way.

shift+click a tool to get it's options menu.

if you meant the panel that appears in viewport to adjust tool parameters after use, I am not sure why that wouldn't be appearing, but you can press T to show last tool used menu.
