Hello, Polycount!

To kick start this, i began retexturing an old model of mine, this makeshift revolver (concept by Kris Thaler).

I think i'm on that stage of any artist career were you begin to think that all your work is garbage and either need to be redone or scrapped all together

Made the cylinder material and some tweaks on the frame material. Only a few pieces remain to be done

Good job man, it's got that apocalyptic look

Did you do any of the details in Zbrush or was it all textured?

Yes, i did the tape in 3ds Max and later sculpted it in Zbrush alongside some damages in other parts of the gun. I have this screenshot so you can see it
