Bevel like XSI in Maya

Hi all! This week I've been messing around in XSI and I discovered something interesting. Is there a way to bevel like this in Maya wherein the edges tessellate into quads? Thanks in advance.

There is not. However you can enable a few more options in the bevel toolbox by clicking its upper right menu. Force parallel can be useful. But there's nothing to automagic beveling this particular shape for you.

@throttlekitty Hey there and thanks for the response. That's unfortunate. Hopefully Maya will get this feature in the future. It's so unstable right now even though they implemented new features..
