I've been trying UE4 and I'm planning to send something to the Marketplace by the end of the year.
I created meshes in 3Dmax, exported and then created the materials on the engine.

My question is if anyone could please explain,
How do I "lock" this material to the mesh? Is there any way to make the mesh attached to a material?

I mean, everytime I use the mesh it comes without any material and then I have to apply one to it. It would be easier for someone using my stuff if it looks already textured.
