Hello everyone in this community of superb art. I look forward to seeing and showing some art that's amusing in what ever way we want to take it. I am currently in school so I will possibly show some of my beginning work and the progress over time. Please give me plenty of criticism I don't take offense to much of anything so be blunt and let me know what I NEED to improve on.
Hello everyone, just made my account here. Looking to share my work and my exploits in the world of digital art, be it 2D or 3D, and of course hoping to get critiques and advice on how I could improve my work to eventually be at a professional level.
My name's Ria, I'm 31 and live in the UK. I'm currently attempting to brush up my 3d modeling in the hopes of eventually creating items for Dota2.
At the moment I'm spending as much time as possible practising sculpting in ZBrush, and watching hours and hours of tutorials and streams. All inbetween looking after my two small kiddies.
Hi!
So, after reading through over a 50 pages of "How do you model dem shapes?" thread I finally registered - took me long enough, didn't it?
About me: I'm a recent MSc. in Informatics/Computer Sciences and currently I'm trying to get back to making CG, as the schoolwork used to take almost all my time for the last 5 years. Hopefully, with tonnes of help and knowledge dwelling in threads like that one above, I'll be able to quickly improve my techniques, finish the portfolio and get a job in CG, which is something I wanted since I've made my first model in 3ds.
I'm a programmer as my main skill but I do a bit of 3D art on the side, done a few vehicles and environments, not much, but looking to enhance my art skills and network with some great artists.
This isnt my first time at polycount, but, I think it was waaaay before the look it has now...
It was at the time of unrealtournament and quake 3, I remember the spawn model for UT, that had animated textures, and I also remember a brilliant artist I think worked for ID software, that had photoshop classes in a forum.
Really nice way to make everyone read the rules and keep spambots out of the way
Hi everyone I've been lurking the forums for a while and finally decided to join, I'm currently working on improving my 2D skills because I want to become a concept artist in the long run, however long it takes me I'm committed to pursue concept art as a career, see you around!
My name is Alex and i've been working in the gaming industry as an artist for the last 7 years. I've been around this forum for a while checking out all the awesome stuff people are making but never quite felt the need to post anything so far.
I'm a sound designer working in games and thought it would be great to get to know some artists/animators! I like looking for new inspiration for new sounds and nowhere is better than in the artists den
Hey everyone! I'm a Student majoring in Arts and Technology with a focus in Game Design. Looking forward to participating on the site and seeing all of your work!
Hey everyone, I'm currently a student in a game arts and animation program. I'm a little over half way done with the program and have learned how to model with Maya, Mudbox, and Zbrush as well as programming with java in Unity and some basic after effects knowledge. I've also been working with Photoshop and Illustrator since middle school.
