Alright, I'm new here and to this industry. Just started learning blender. Totally new to this whole thing, with noexperience at all. Became interested while browsing through workshop and reading articles about tons of self taught artist in the industry. I see why not give it a try! I will be under your guidance from now on. Thank you.
Hello.
Name's Danijel.
I'm here to find solutions to problems I may have and also to find some people to work with since in my country only sports it a familiar term. Game development term is like 30 years ahead of Croatia
I'm a 3D Character Artist that currently works part-time in the industry while having my own freelance business as well. I hope to make some friends while working on my craft and sharing tips tricks and other ideas.
Hello all, I'm mainly an animator, with long-term history in the games industry, and probably should have joined Polycount long ago. Please don't hold that against me.
Hello all! My name is Jason. I am 21 years old and live in the United States. I've been modelling for three years. I worked up the courage to by a graphics tablet and a couple new pieces of software so I can sculpt and hand-paint textures. This website has helped me tremendously and I hope to post work this year!
I'm a beginner 3D environmental artist and I can't wait to post some of my work on here. I've been prowling Polycount for months and I must say, it has an excellent community of people.
Hello I just wanted to introduce myself to this community. I primarily work in 3DS Max as a Hard Surface Modeler. I am learning how to low poly model right now, I am also learning how to use photoshop to texture again.
I'm from Melbourne and am the head of Opaque Multimedia's Critical Art Response Team (C.A.R.T). I began modelling in 2004 and specialised as a character artist since 2005. I have a reasonable grounding in traditional fine-art training. I've studied anatomy and life drawing at the National Taiwan University of Arts.
Outside of work at Opaque, I also teach 3D modelling at Swinburne University of Technology.
Hi, my name is Xavier and I'm an aspiring game artist. I'm currently studying at Digital Arts and Entertainment in kortrijk Belgium.
Here im following courses in both 3D art and 2D conceptual art.
Hi there Polycount folks! I'm Cliffman, Cliff, Cliffers, Cliffy, Cliffbert, Cliffabulous, etc. Pretty much a total noob aspiring to become a 3d artist by absorbing all awesomeness I can find. So I figured what better place to find awesomeness to learn from if not in here and other sites like it?
Looking forward to getting to know you folks and the craft better!
Hey all.
I've been a longtime lurker, coming and going over the years. I've got a decent technical knowledge from looming over the shoulders of coworkers in the past (and watching lots of lessons), but have spent a lot less time on practical than I should.
I must resolve that.
Anyway. Saying hi and validating my account in here Cheers.
Just a quick introduction for myself. I'm a game developer from Melbourne, Australia. I've predominately focused on game design/player experience and sound design for most of my work, but over the past year I've been heavily focusing on environmental modelling and texturing. The tool sets I'm using heavily ATM are Maya, Quixel Suite, Unreal Engine and Unity.
I've lurked around here for a while (seriously, so much inspiration!) and will soon be posting my own work which I would love to get feedback on, both good and bad.
