Hi all! Who am I... mostly a technical artist for a media production studio. Some of those "medias" are games, every now and then. I'm mostly working on the backend, developing and stuff.
My name is Eric. I am a game art student at the art institute of Seattle.
I am trying to become an environment artist, and would love to be a part of this forum.
My names Brandon, I'm a graduate of the 2012 class for the Game Production program at IADT - Seattle, I work a regular job as of posting this and work on games and music as a hobby.
I've been working on a couple prototype games in Unity to build up my programmer muscle (learning C#) since graduating. Hope to get into the game industry, indie or studio.
I have been reading through these forums a lot. It seems like a great resource, and I have learned a lot by reading. Decided to join in to learn, grow, and possibly to contribute where I can.
My name is Waqas, I am Cg Artist. I like to model environments, I found this site few days ago and I have fallen in love with it. I am planning to start to make my own environment in unity or unreal4.
With a positive feedback I believe I will make a good one.
I've been reading this forum for a while now, especially when I've been stuck.
I work in the UK as a broadcast TV editor. I have used 3DS Max since it was just called 3D Studio, based on DOS and the internet wasn't born to help people out.
I've tinkered with it all this time and, now desktop workstations are a lot more powerful, I have started to introduce 3D work to my clients.
So far my favourite posts have been about character skinning and topology. This has helped me tremendously.
Just wanted to say congratulations on this wonderful forum! This is the place I've been searching for for a long time! My name is Vagner Amaral and I'm Co-founder of VnV Gamez (a small independent games develpment company), and I'm here to both learn and look for some great art and artists to do some freelance work on our games! Hopefully we'll be able to meet soon and discuss some very nice offers!
For now, just thank you! And I'll see you in the threads! ;-)
Hello! I am a brand new member and I'd like to say I am eager to learn from you guys, and also to help with whatever I can. Sharing is caring after all.
Just not sure if I made everything right or if it is just the moderation which takes a bit longer. So I just wanted to make it sure now ^^
I feel super pleased and excited to be here and want thank to the whole Polycount community for beeing such a great inspiration for all the time I'm visiting this page.
Best regards
Hello everybody! I am a 5 year Game Industry veteran who currently works in the Automotive Industry. The creative bug strikes every now and then, so I might post here and there.
Hello Everyone - I am a Blender user considering making the investment in Maya or Maya LT. I am also interested in exploring the broader world of 3D design.
