[UDK] Data Room

Hello everyone. This is my first thread in polycount (yay! :)) and my first personal environment in UDK. I decided to build a data room after being inspired by a concept art done by Aaron Foster. Main purpose of this project is to learn about assets modularity, materials setup and lighting in UDK.

Here's what I have so far.

I started on this shortly before UE4 released. After UE4 was launched, I decided to continue and finish this up in UDK so as not to let all the preparation work done gone to waste.

    Hello there. This is looks great! I like the assets and the lighting looks nice too. Looks like you got modularity down.

    Not sure if you used vertex painting here, but that's definitely something worth looking into. Also think its a good idea to play around with the color of the lights a bit more to establish a mood. Just my thoughts.

    Still working up the courage to put up my first thread here myself. Will happen sooner or later. :P

    @sidx30 Thanks for the feedback! Yup I'm definitely looking into vertex painting. It's one of the things on my ever-growing agenda. I didn't build it into the master material used in the scene above, and would definitely find time to work it in asap.

    I finally saved up enough and gotten myself Marmoset (woot!). Trying it out and here's a quick whip up of some of the modules used in the scene above.

    Some of the assets aren't final yet and will have to go through another round of work. *shrug*

    Looks awesome, I like the style. The big letters are a bit...big though imo.
