Hello everyone. This is my first thread in polycount (yay!

) and my first personal environment in UDK. I decided to build a data room after being inspired by a concept art done by Aaron Foster. Main purpose of this project is to learn about assets modularity, materials setup and lighting in UDK.
Here's what I have so far.



I started on this shortly before UE4 released. After UE4 was launched, I decided to continue and finish this up in UDK so as not to let all the preparation work done gone to waste.

Not sure if you used vertex painting here, but that's definitely something worth looking into. Also think its a good idea to play around with the color of the lights a bit more to establish a mood. Just my thoughts.
Still working up the courage to put up my first thread here myself. Will happen sooner or later. :P

Some of the assets aren't final yet and will have to go through another round of work. *shrug*
