I am trying to become a 3d Environmental Artist. I am currently a computer art and animation major, but in my spare time I am trying to learn UDK to it's fullest. I have been using Unity 3D indie for 2 years now, and I am ready to move up the ladder to UDK. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated greatly.
Hello, I'm Ashley. I'm really horrible at intro posts, but I'm an artist going to school for art creation for games. My background is primarily fine art (just graduated my undergrad with a Studio Art degree and am pursuing a Masters in game design), so I'm hoping that PolyCount will be a good resource for me to improve my 3D skills
Hi there, I'm building a rhythm game prototype and looking for an animator for paid contract. Please check out my ad or PM me for more details, thanks.
We are working on something and we are looking forward to cooperating with the talented workshop contributors in the future. I will probably make a thread about it after my polycount account is approved.
If you are a Steam Workshop contributor, feel free to contact me via personal messages.
Hey Polycount! I'm a recent graduate from Staffordshire Uni in the UK where I studied Computer Games Design. Now I've finally made an account here I'm hoping to post my projects here and with a bit of luck and hard work, maybe get onto the Polycount Weekly Recap someday
The freshest. I started working my way through 3DS Max2013 Tutorials and i like where this is heading. I have enrolled in a Bachelor Degree in Game Design for '14 and have joined this website to get insight, tips and to further my skillset and portfolio.
I'm studying Game Art and 2D Animation after having drawn comics and illustrations for a long time. I'm hoping to eventually work as a 2D or 3D artist. Feel like I'd be best suited to work as a 2D/3D generalist at a smaller studio. Really trying to transition to a style/subject matter that's more suited to modern video game production, rather than the "indie comics" style I am used to.
I've joined this website to supplement my studies and talk to other game artists obviously. LETS DO THIS GUYS
Hi there! I'm a computer arts and animation student in Portland, OR about to graduate. I thought it was about time I started to participate in some of the discussions, contests, and general awesomeness on Polycount.
I have totally abandonned video-games art almost a year ago since college didn't end very well, but after a year of unemployment, lurking motivating (and most of the time useless..) threads I felt the call of making art back !
Hello polycount! I'm representing a game studio (Raging Llama Games Studio) and we're recruiting pixel artists. Found this site during the recruit process... Seems like a good site! Well, I'll be posting the recruit post when I can.
Hello tehre! New to 3D world willing to learn. Also seeking for freelance artists for my current projects and help when I will be able to do my own work.

Hello there, I'm just a person who loves to draw and would love to learn how to become a 3D artist. I have much to learn but I'd love to be able to be a part of the community that would help me do so.
Hi. Desperately need technical advice on a very frustrating but more then likely easily remedied issue, that's why I joined. I'm a traditional 2d Illustrator but have always been intrigued by maya and zbrush for developing game content. I'd classify myself as a hobbyist at the moment but would like to parlay this into some freelance work somewhere down the line.
Look forward to getting to know many of you, working with some and contributing positively to the community. Lot of great talent here. Glad to become a part of it.
Hi everyone from polycount, I am new here and I've chosen to join the community of polycount as I see great and promising people that I feel like can get along with along with improving my crafts with them.
I am a concept game artist (style is quite anime-ish) / Illustrator, an aspiring 3D low poly modeler, and a game developer. You could learn more or see my works at my website
which is also connected to different art profiles and social medias.
