Xmas comes early this year, Im back in the UK and can see my son whom Ive not seen for 6 months and I just bought myself an early Christmas present

Nikon D600 and Nikon 60mm f/2.8G ED AF-S Micro-Nikkor Lens to go with it..

I bought this lens first because I wanted to do people photography primarily.. I will add other lenses later

We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people.

Hear hear, I've got a Sigma 35mm 1.4 with my name on it, if it actually ships by xmas.

Though I'm a little curious why you went with a macro lens over something like the Nikon 85/1.4 or 85/1.8 both of which are excellent portrait lenses.

I like Macro a lot in general anyways and wanted to play with close ups of people.

But yeah I was going to buy a standard lens too but when I added it all up price wise it was a bit rich. So will wait for new year sales.
