Oh Snap! Looks pretty cool, but is it different than the art books from the CE of the recent games?
That's what I want to know, the Diablo 3 art book is great for character concept art, okay for everything else, if it is more of the same I would pass on buying, but would love to flip through.
I have enjoyed all the books, but I mean is there different content? I own all the books including the old and fragile Warcraft3 Art book. If there is no new content I can't see my self purchasing something I already own.

An epic volume of art and behind-the-scenes insights, The Art of Blizzard® celebrates the studios genesis by examining the creative forces behind these games and showcasing their artistry through more than 700 pieces of concept art, paintings, and sketches. Commentary on the art is provided by Blizzard Entertainments own Nick Carpenter, Sam Didier, and Chris Metzen, whove each played important roles in shaping Blizzards game universes over the years.
Pre-ordered this a while ago. The original ship date was Oct 18th. Ive gotten a couple of emails from amazon saying its been pushed back. the first email said it was pushed back till november. Now I just got one saying not till January.... wtf... It's a book. Not a huge ass game.
Hopefully this means they are adding D3 and heart of the swarm art to it..
I hear they have a secret page for concept art for a celestial steed. If you want it, it's $25, which you have to pay online, and then wait in a virtual queue for 3 days before they e-mail you the page in a PDF file.

or at least that's what they're hyping it up to be.
I have the art book from the last 2 wow expansions + MoP & D3 but I still think im going to order this also. *crosses fingers for lots of things from WC3 and earlier* :poly142:
This is actually something I am curious about. I have all the art books for WoW+all expansions, SC2, D3, as well as art of the WoW card game and Lich King Cinematic books...so....what type of overlap am I looking at here for art? I am really interested in this book but I want to know that the artwork inside is stuff I don't already have.
I feel it wont have much, if any overlap, praetus. Yes, those books are pretty big to begin with. But they are also only a small small selection of all the art they do for each game.
I had it on pre order, but cancelled after seeing a flip through and reading that there would be no art from the cinematics. I feel like I have all those images burned into my fanboy brain already :P
