Exporting UDK to 3dsmax?

Hi, I know i'm gonna have problems never having done this and thought I would just ask the pros.

Is it possible to export a UDK block-in to 3dsmax in some fashion?

Ie. I blocked in my level in UDK using BSP and would like to export that to 3dsmax.

I google'd a bunch of stuff on 3dsmax to UDK, but thats not what I need.

Thanks in advance :)

Well, mate, the solution I find is a bit convoluted, but may work:
Use Blender and get the i/o .ase plugin here (http://www.katsbits.com/tools/). Pay attention to the version, blender is rather catchy about it.
Once imported in Blender, export as .obj or .3ds.

    Hope this will help.

All i can say is that i did this way back in the March 2010 vers of UDK.
There was an option for obj. export which could then be imported to max.
It ruins the mesh sometimes but with a bit of cleanup and flipping normals it actually is doable.

you can either just go to file export and export it from there, or you select the brushes you need and convert them into a static mesh and export it from the content browser.

Isn't there a Export to FBX command in the right click menu? Although i've never used it myself.
