Polycount TF2 Server

We've set up a few Team Fortress 2 servers for those wanting to get together with other polycounters and shoot each other in the face. Do a search in the map browser for Polycount and you'll find 2 of them. A 32 and a 18 slot server. The 18 is running a stock set up but the 32 we're gonna have fun with and do some customization. Also not sure how much longer the 18 will be up at this point too.

I wanna run some fun custom maps too of course so please feel free to speak up if you have a fave we haven't uploaded yet. So please feel free to stop by and shoot me.

Thanks to one of our resident wizards, cheeseplus for do the heavy lifting on this.

Anyone wanna suggest some images for the server screen?

pl_frontier is always fun
ctf_biomass is the only CTF map I've played in TF2 that doesn't constantly result in stalemates
pl_cashworks is very popular, though I'm not much of a fan

The CGTalk server has a few fun customs, though they're often pretty weird. May want to check the maplist out.

Thanks for the post. I mostly play on SourceOP since I can never find PC'ers playing. I know you guys are out there though. I'll stop by tomorrow in the 32 man if there are some people in there.

I've added it to my favourites, so next time I see someone on the server I'll hop on.
These past few weeks I've been plahying a hell of a lot of freezetag, maybe you guys could look into that? It really adds an extra tactical element to games, and I love it!

There's also a Polycount steam group. Everyone should join it, and then one of the group admins should schedule some games.

Bookmarked and played a bit with dan.shewan until the game crashed when switching maps.

Also what was up with the random map switching in the middle of a round? odd stuff, still fun. Glad it's back

Times that don't overlap with the CGTalk games would be cool. They play at 6:00pm PST on Wednesdays and Fridays and 9:00pm PST on Saturdays.
