The cool thing about the courier in my mind was the size and features. It looked like the perfect "business man on the go" device. I don´t want to haul a huge ass windows-tablet around.
Post something up about it once you've tested it out, I'd love to get a tablet PC if it's any good
I know me too! One of them would be used to roleplay it as a pokedex.
Lets hope that in 2011 they decide its worth releasing. The tiny profile and book style with painting applications is just perfect for on the go sketching and reading.

A little expensive if all you want is a sketchpad but it is after all a macbook at its heart (so it functions as a normal laptop as well.)
Its also the same size as a macbook so it does not fill that niche that some of us want unfortunently.

problem with the axiotron is that you have to supply the macbook for them to convert so add the price of a macbook to the price of the axiotron and suddenly it seems like a rather bad idea.

I think I like the idea of Win7 more, only because of the apps that you could already have available, but this could still be cool.
Well for sketching, painting or sculpting properly on a tablet pc you want it to have at least laptop specs or it won't be good for much of anything. The conversion cost is just the price of getting a decent tablet screen, since nobody else out there seems capable or willing to do it.
Mine works great, and I still haven't found anything on the market that is as comparable for what it can do. I actually prefer using it over my cintiq at work. I got one of the studio pens with it which are pretty much exactly the same as an intuos/cintiq pen and it makes a huge difference when painting or sculpting.
Apps I use on it the most: photoshop, sketchbook pro, zbrush, 3dcoat. I wouldn't be able to use any of those on an ipad or netbook/slate job that are currently taking over the market.
