Has anything actually been decided with this yet? lol
Is everyone ok with June?
I know its a while away but its not like everyone lives down the road...I can be in London in just over an hour, so its not a big deal for me, but then again i dont have to travel to another country to get a pint. :P
We need a poll for this, then we can clearly see what's happening.
June it is. i'm guessing the weekends would be best for most so here are the weekend dates in 5th & 6th , 12th & 13th, 19th & 20th, 26th & 27th (also the first week of July if any can make that 3rd & 4th of July)
So which of those dates suites people best? do you know of any events going on in London on those dates that would be cool to go too?
The nando's down by London bridge kinda area is cool as it's right on the river and lots of pubs around there! Not that i'm that fussed about going to nandos :P I can make it if its the 5th+6th
We any nearer arranging a date for this? Id quite like to come along but we are getting close to said dates.
As it happens a couple of mates and myself are trying to organise a meet of CA.org guys in Oxford. Theres a weapons exibition at the Pitt Rivers museum we thought would be cool to check out. again we're having the same problems though, can't decide a date .
Ok groovy
I am still rooting for Nandos, though wagamamas is awesome ^^
I'd be up for either of these, though Nando's is probably better value for money - Wags is really expensive for what it is, though I do like their seating arrangements, very social. Depending on how many we're expecting (at either venue), we'll probably need reservations for a suitably-large table.
currently i have one issue, the cheapest and easiest flight back would be 6:55 in stansted which means i'd have to make it through the night, sleeping on my flight back, from my experience, london is shut down at 11-12 tops and thats quite a long time till 6:55 even though it'll take some time to get to stansted its still a lot of time in a long night - so what can i do about it? ^^

Well, the last Tube runs at about 1am, and there are night buses covering most of the city running all night (if you don't mind living dangerously), but Stansted's not the most convenient airport to get to at the best of times.
As its a short haul flight, im guessing that you would need to be at Stanstead at least 2hrs before check-in so the question is, How are you getting to Stanstead from London?
There is the Stanstead express from Liverpool Street station, which takes about 45 mins, but im pretty sure there are no trains after 11:30 ish and there is a bus replacement service on the 6th after midnight.
So you could either get to the airport early and maybe grab some food and check emails/surf the internets or walk around London and maybe grab some food and check emails/surf the internets!
So, we definitely on for the 5th?
Is everyone OK with the Covent Garden Nandos? It's pretty easy to get to, just a couple of minutes walk from Leicester Square and Charing Cross.
Do we have solid numbers for people who are showing up?

Sounds good to me.
I think the easiest way to get an accurate headcount would be for everyone who's coming to say so and confirm here, and then I can reserve us a table towards the middle of next week, maybe the 2nd or 3rd or something, to give people a chance to reply.

Aside from the dates, I'm guessing somewhere with a beer garden or terrace would be what we're looking for?
Would be nice to meet people.. even if i am a bit of a shy nubby
as long as its nandos :P
Awesome, almost time, two weeks (and a bit.)
Nothing definate yet, and yet its maybe in two weeks time. Can't buy expensive, close call, tickets for a maybe..
but it was sexy in a way that words can't explain =/

John
I say we just decide on the 5th or 6th - if we don't set a definitive date, then it's not going to happen at all.
So, the next hurdle - venue?

Im gonna go with what danshewan said...5th or the 6th June.
If we dont set a concrete date we will never sort it out ^^
Sound good?
I hope they have the xxhot sauce.
Oh sweet fiery elixir...
Have some fun for me guys.
ok i'll check for flights i think 5th is better as it is a saturday, i'd have to fly back on sunday
xxhot isn't that hot but i doubt i can get my 3am reserve into the uk without beeing arrested for carrying explosives xD
So shall we say Saturday June 5th for some Nando's action?
If so, we need to agree on a specific restaurant and a time - soon as we do that, I'll make the reservations!
Sound good?
@psychoticprankster and Squiggers,

5th, 5th, 5th!

Does between 5-7pm work for everyone?
