This is actually the first mmo where I dont have to put in effort to get in a group, since it autogroups.
Yah, the auto-grouping in the missions is really nice. I jumped into a 'enemy signal' point from sector space, and a couple of other players jumped in, someone yelled out "Let the hunt begin!" and we all just started laying waste to the squads of Birds of Prey. It was a bloodbath!
I love being the reckless hero in fights, jumping out of full impulse right above the enemy fleet and unload a full load of photon torpedoes onto them, and then start the pewpew, but everyone else just seems content to stand at a safe distance and pewpew at them. 240degree phasers ftw, that's how they rolled in the startrek series!

But I'm having a total blast with this game, I hate MMO's in general but star trek us actually fun to play. Hopefully they can get solid userbase as I'd lie to see this grow

Lets hope they dont start abusing the dlc too much though. They already have the c-store up there, selling stuff, that's a thing you do in free mmo's, not in subscription based ones!
Would be sad to see TSO implode on itself before it became truly good.

I can't wait to unlock some of the bigger, more badass ships and just wallow right into the thick of it.
