Dude, Tim Langdell did sue us - theres an article on kotaku somewhere about it as well, about 3 weeks after it was public that he sued Fuzzyeyes was when the latest petition to have Tim Langdell removed from the IGDA thing went around. LOL.

Justin_Meisse: We sure did man, he sued Fuzzyeyes. there was some agreement made between 2 parties - one can only speculate that Tim somehow got some cash whilst we were hard up enough as it was to develop the game!

I was really looking forward to playing this game, most developers in Brisbane (and Australia) work on licensed games.. I was excited to see such an original IP being developed locally.
So whilst I was building characters, I was also working some effects, lighting, shaders, post process / it was a bit of megamix, so the folio could be filled out with quite a range of stuff for a lowly character artist!
The thing that burns alot is that we arent able to show the work weve done as the project is in some kind of limbo - its not 'official' that the ip / game is dead therefor we arent allowed to put up everything we did.
Apart from the odd tumbleweed, and ominous howling wind, the studio is devoid of all life if that answers the questions regarding how the studio is doing now.
I'm doing my best to try and get an official OK to release some of my work ( Main characters )
Its funny to hear you guys comment on the blood, I remember myself and the lead animator spending many a late night working on variations until together we came up with something we liked and when we eventually got an effects artist he added his tweaks and there you have it haha!
It was sweet the blood spats spawned decals on the ground, on you, onto other enemies - you could potentially get into a rediculous bloodbath in some of our test levels with unlimited spawning enemies... at least... i thought it was fun :P
How far did you come to finishing the game?

I don't think that's true, a small team should just set it's goals accordingly. You can't make a mmo bigger than WoW with 10 guys and buckets passion, you're gonna need the people. That doesn't mean small teams can't make great games, they will just be a bit smaller / focussed.

Theres just so much that needs to be said, but aside from being unprofessional its generally frowned upon and bad form so I'll leave it at that.
Hey Marcus, nah I'm currently trying to work something out with my former boss, but its not looking good unfortunately due to the 'situation' the game is currently in.
I am not one for these types of games in most cases (though my tastes have been changing). It looked like a pretty neat game. It's a shame that creativity, design, and time go down the drain when developers follow the route of cash express.
I must say that the environments looked pretty badass from that trailer!
well if it comes out then I can only pray it's good and will satisfy my long hunger for games that remind me of Legacy of Kain.

Sorry to hear you had your job/game stolen out from under you Hazardous, I can only imagine how angry and sad I'd be if that had happened to me.
Hopefully that deal goes through and you can at least show your work publicly.
