I really like the idea, right now it feels like a proof of concept model. Moving forward you could possibly work more on your flow and composition, currently it feels a little mashed together with no visible lines or composition. I recommend making sure its spot on before moving into detailing. The idea itself has great potential, just aren't feeling how the tree sits right now. Although remember, that's just my opinion :P
EDIT: Was just flicking through some reference in google and noticed this, it could be interesting to have the arms and human forms that make up your roots grasp at the heels of those that walk down the path of terror! MUAHAHAHA!

- I agree it does look very mashed together looking at it now. Thank you for the input!
If it helps, when working on a tree don't over complicate things to quickly. The basic form should be enough to sell it. I did some digging and found this, it seems to have some good reference material and could be useful to you.

-That Is really good reference, Thank you so much! I have that site saved and ready
Hey OldStyle. This is shaping up nicely and I've always been a fan of faces in trees. They always seem old and majestic. I recommend looking at "Weirwood" from Game of Thrones. May give you some ideas.
Thank you, and Ive always liked the idea since I was young. I also liked things like the demon doors in Fable. And I will look them up thanks for the tip

Im abit confused as to how/why stone is growing out of the tree bark, but who needs realism anyway!
