So I have a scalar parameter setup with a material instance.
The parameter controls a texture that "eats" into another texture revealing a fire texture.
When I hook this up in Matinee, it will not "fade" from one texture to another as it should, it only is a basic on/off look where it's one material until it finishes the animation and it immediately POPS to the other material with no fading whatsoever.
What am I doing wrong here?

I always used a vector parameter instead.. used just the red channel and faded it that way
