I love that flame golem character and the necromancer piece. Your film study from hellboy is also good too! You have a lot of a solid talent all around. The handle on that rotary phone looks a little thick but it fits nicely in the scene with the desk.
This thread's been dead for a pretty long time and tbh I thought about starting a new one. However, for the sake of posterity I will bring this one back, necromancer-style. I'm actually pretty embarrassed by a lot of the stuff in those previous (two lol) posts, which may be ironic considering what I am about to post!
I'll use this one to clear out all the old stuff (there isn't much basically just some speed sculpts/half-finished doodles) and then start only posting up new stuff, hopefully fairly frequently.
Old speed sculpts and half-finished doodles:
There's also this guy (I've finished rigging him and should have the final beauty shots/whatever pretty soon):
It took forever, but I'm finally done that hobo knight. If you have any critiques or suggestions or ad hominem attacks, please don't hold back! (especially on the presentation - I'm still not 100% on the dof stuff). I'm finished with this guy, but I will apply them to my next char for sure.
aah, really enjoy this sketchbook. some wickedly well defined volumes on your paints. And those sculpts really want me to get ahold of zbrush this summer
haiddasalami: oh snap! thanks man. I hope all your stuff is going well! (and will continue to go well????)
KristaW: I'm glad you enjoy it so much!!
TorbenLindstrom: I appreciate all those things!!!!
so erm... I don't have that much to show this time. I will have more next week! I swear that on the graves of my ancestors (which I don't do that often).
Here are a couple of "traditional" sketchbook pages done in "pencil":
Hey guys! Haven't posted in a while due to being an alternating combination of busy and lazy. Beginning now though I'm gonna try to be posting updates semi-regularly again.
And is there a better way to start posting updates than by posting an update? Probably, but I can't think of it!!
some speed bust sculpts (SURPRISING):
and a wip (1851 colt navy revolver - hard surface zbrush study):

OXGears: haha yeah kind of. I think my obsession with game of thrones had something to do with that character.
