Working on a new project, I'm currently developing a haunted room, with in a huge Victorian castle.
It's just a simple ornate room, with beautiful wood carvings and a rather malicious sprite in black.
I am using references with in the Victorian and Georgian era. I feel the times with in that period, would set a perfect spooky atmosphere.
So anyways, I am going to shove this art in your FACE. DEAL WITH IT,
and
I'm looking for some great ideas about what I am doing or a better know how. I am planning the room, and have started an asset list. As well as you could see concept.
I hope to have Modeling sheets when needed, and all the concepts well planned.
Here's the modeling sheet / room construction. I'm almost about to go about building this all in 3D, Cant wait to see if my whole concepts hold up to there MEGA BITS.
Here's my version of what i would call finished as of the moment. Sculpting wise.
The mesh is built of a low poly model I had already made, with in Maya, then converted over to Zburush. I hope this will help generate the lowpoly textures faster.
Here's the Low poly model, with the new texture.
Diffuse, Specular, Normal,
It's going to have a Transparent map on it, so parts of the model would be invisible, for an more ghostly feel. I've yet to set it up well, I keep getting terrible results
So here's my ALMOST FINISHED version of my ghost, Hes been trapped in a historical book for many years, and has finally broken free. Free to eat the souls of the living! The souls that are eaten, become apart of the body. forever trapped.
Next I've gotta get the rest of the items and meshes updated with the current Shader. Time for some tedious work.
