Elevation and geography reference

I've started to gather DEM and geographical data for terrain reference, and here's some of the better links I've found in case anyone finds them useful. If you have any good links feel free to contribute!
DEM/Geography Refs:
http://www.viewfinderpanoramas.org/dem3.html (great place to start; categorized and maintained data; also a link for the 3DEM viewer)
http://seamless.usgs.gov/website/seamless/viewer.htm (data covering the US up to 1/9 arc sec)
http://www.gdem.aster.ersdac.or.jp/search.jsp (aster world data, requires login but less of a pain than most other aster ref sites)
http://gdex.cr.usgs.gov/ (site down atm, but imo the most straightforward site for quality data)
Other sites of interest:
http://3dmuseum.geology.ucdavis.edu/frame.html (very useful site for 3d refs of fossils, shells, etc)
