Hey This is my suggestion, very quick paint-over in photoshop to help a little bit with the lighting to make it a little bit more interesting. This is 100% subjective ofcourse!
I felt like you needed something that contrasted all that red, the most obvious thing would be to have coolor stone color the further from the lava you get. It pretty much means that your regular ambient light would have this bluish tone to it, then the surroundings got colored by the warm light of the lava.
Also bumping up the contrast and brightness to make the highlights from the lava more apparent and in your face.
The lava flooring seems too wavy for having an active source. The incline accumulation to the contact of the walls are great. I would try to have the lava slightly flatter and add a nice Normal Map to it.
