@ slipsius: hahaha yeah I was thinking about that. Long drippy tongue could look pretty cool.
Threw in some more business, Might drop one or two belt packs to get some more interest in the cape. Going to add some stitching then some more sculpting fun.
Thanks again everyone I am glad he is getting a warm welcome
Dude thats really awesome that you were just playing around and got to this. You have a very unique and interesting style. Im really excited to see this textured.
While I don't think it's particularly necessary, you could perhaps give the cape a bit of the bat-wing shape if you did want to give it some more interest.

^^this, from the front you can't even tell he's wearing a cape.
I think it'd look really cool, and work with the style you already have, if you did the cape Sam Kieth style with wild spiky curly bits and a little more over... where ever his shoulders would be if he had shoulders...
@ ScudzAlmighty: Good call. I have given him a bit more of an umbrella style cape but I will play. From the front I might have to fan it out a bit more.
What is this crap?! Cape is going through his collar!
But more serious, I'm loving this guy. I really like the fact that his mask is smiling too.
I think adding arms would break the character, but I do miss something keeping his belt up? I know a belts job is to keep other stuff in place so it should manage to keep itself in place, but I can't help but feel that it's about to drop down.
+1 for another awesome character duncan. (-1 for dropping lil'troopa)
@ MeintevdS: hahahaha... hmmm interesting point. I could lash his belt to his mask... if there is enough room. hmmmm need to think. "-1 for dropping lil'troopa" hahahaha I know but she spent too much time on the top of the pile so she got dropped for a little bit. hehe there is always the future.
@ Umar6419: hahah yeah but I get too sick of these guys by the time they are ready to animate , but you never know maybe this one is the one.
Daily spam. New belt bit, I think I am gonna make it a light. Added some stitching.
I really like how you adding the stitching to the mask and the added detail to the batman symbol. I almost feel like there could be an on/off button added to the top of the batman symbol. Keep up the great work!
@ $!nz : hahah I feel like I say this with every character but ..... yeah if he turns ok I might have to get him printed
@ KennyTies : hehehe great minds. I tried to add a dotton a while ago but I just could not get it to sit well. Perhaps in the future
UPDATES. So I finished the highpoly and started to bake down my maps.
Some colour tests. Not exactly sure what I am trying to go for but I think I am starting to head in the right direction. HEAPS more work to do but this a fun stage so I am just gonna let it flow. I think I need to get some of the yellows back into his belt, packs and metal parts. ahhhhhh test, test, test

Went up to Sydney for an opera so I did not get to do too much work on this guy but he has slightly newer jox and beltlight/batsignal thingy.
Awesome stuff.

I think lowering the utility belt and adding some arms would be cool; nice work either way. :nerd:
Great job!
holy fuckcicles batman
Something about the lack of hands and the cheesy grin work really well for me. I reckon leave it as is. Haha.
