so I've decided to take the sides there and turn them into skulls for a demonic or dead theme working up some more drawings for it and messing around mudbox now. any input?

I'd definitely get some more concepted out. Try to unify the theme a bit? Right now it seems lost.

completely agree. drawing up some more right now I already got away a bit from the first one anyways. Will have some posted in the morning. Got some cool pieces working up in mudbox for ideas!
